REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

BICAB SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED (“BICAB”, “Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is dedicated to ensuring a reliable and transparent cost-sharing community for mobility and ride-sharing on our platform (the "Platform").

This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) outlines the conditions under which refunds, cancellations, and associated charges are processed. This Policy forms an integral part of our Terms of Use and uses the same definitions as defined therein (including “Biker” and “Passenger”). By using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Policy.

1. CANCELLATION BY PASSENGERS

  • Pre-Ride Cancellation: If a Passenger cancels a requested ride before the Biker has accepted or commenced the journey toward the pickup location, no cancellation fee will be applied, and any pre-authorized amounts (if applicable) will be released.
  • Late Cancellation: If a Passenger cancels a ride request after the Biker has accepted it and is already en route, a late cancellation fee may be levied to compensate the Biker for their time and fuel. This fee will be automatically deducted from the Passenger’s linked payment method.

2. CANCELLATION BY BIKERS

  • If a Biker cancels an accepted ride before reaching the pickup location, the Passenger will not be charged any cost contribution or fee. If any amount was pre-authorized or deducted, a full refund will be processed immediately.
  • Bikers who exhibit a pattern of frequent or unjustified cancellations may face disciplinary action, including temporary suspension or permanent deactivation of their Biker privileges, to protect the reliability of the Platform.

3. NO-SHOW POLICY

  • Passenger No-Show: If a Biker arrives at the designated pickup location, waits for the prescribed grace period, and the Passenger fails to board the vehicle, the Passenger will be classified as a "No-Show." A No-Show fee equivalent to a percentage of the total estimated cost contribution may be charged to the Passenger.
  • Biker No-Show: If a Biker fails to arrive at the agreed pickup location without canceling the ride through the Platform, the Passenger will not be charged, and the Biker may be penalized or restricted from future ride publications.

4. REFUNDS & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Refunds for completed rides are generally not permitted, as the Platform serves only to facilitate cost-sharing between Users. However, exceptions may be made under the following circumstances:

  • The ride was terminated prematurely due to vehicle breakdown or an accident.
  • The Biker engaged in unsafe, reckless, or inappropriate behavior, resulting in an interrupted journey.
  • The actual route taken deviated significantly from the agreed route without the Passenger's consent, leading to an unfair cost contribution charge.

To request a refund under these exceptional circumstances, the Passenger must raise a dispute through the Platform's support section within 24 hours of the ride's scheduled completion time. BICAB’s support team will investigate the claim and may approve a partial or full refund at its sole discretion.

5. PLATFORM FEES

Any convenience fee, technology fee, or Platform Fee levied by BICAB for the provision of Platform Services is strictly non-refundable, regardless of whether the ride is completed, canceled, or disputed, unless the cancellation is due to a technical failure exclusively attributable to the Platform.

6. REFUND PROCESSING TIME

Approved refunds will be processed back to the User’s original payment method. Depending on the banking institution and payment gateway, it may take between 5 to 7 business days for the credited amount to reflect in your bank account or credit card statement.

7. AMENDMENTS TO THIS POLICY

BICAB reserves the right to modify, amend, or update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be posted directly to this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Platform signifies your acceptance of these modified terms.
